Greetings beautiful being!  My name is Stessy aka Melanin Goddess, and I am the founder, creator, and heart behind Melanin’s Magic. This sacred space came to life from my own healing journey. It led me back to myself, back to my roots, and back to the magic that has always lived inside me.

I started Melanin’s Magic in 2019 when I was trying to find skincare that could help my son with his eczema and support my own sensitive, melanated skin. Nothing I found truly honored our needs. So I trusted my spirit, leaned into ancestral wisdom, and began creating my own body butters, oils, and skin-loving blends.

​

But it did not stop there. What began as simple creations turned into a calling. Melanin’s Magic became my way of offering healing, not only for the skin, but also for the soul.

​

Today, I offer intentional body care, meditation experiences, tarot and oracle readings, and community-based wellness through gatherings like Meditate With Melanin. Everything I share is crafted with purpose, rooted in love, and guided by spirit.

I believe in the sacred connection of mind, body, and soul. I believe that healing is possible and that we all carry the power to return to ourselves. I believe in the beauty of melanated magic and the strength of our stories.

This journey has been personal, imperfect, beautiful, and real. I do not have a team or a staff. It is just me. A mama, a healer, a student of life, and a passionate creator who shows up every day to pour love into every jar, every reading, every ritual, and every offering I share.
